A small girl with many dreams …
I spend my life dancing. Since a young age, I have trained to become a ballerina, and as everyone probably knows, it’s a path made of passion, love, discipline, full dedication, constant training, exhaustion, endless striving for perfection, and dreams.
You started this path at a young age, and by consequence, you only imagined what would await you. Until you experience it and live it in real life, you can't know if it will be like your dream.
I achieved a part of my dream by working for one of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world, the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Working in the Holy Grail of ballet is my daily life, and as an artist, I am always looking forward to creating myself in a new way.
Creating for me is a bit like expressing my inner life energy, and at the same time, through the process of creation, I discover a new part of myself.
It’s an endless and fascinating process.
Working so intensively with my body, I usually don't want to move anymore in my spare time.
Inside, though, I never stop wanting to create myself, and I often ask myself: "Are there other ways you wish you could experience but still didn’t because of a lack of time ?”
The answer is yes. Endlessly yes.
And everything happens by consequence, so naturally.
It was a summer day, and I was resting and not dancing for once ! After a few days, I felt that I needed to create. Everything except ballet, no matter how my soul wanted to dance, I promised to give myself this time off for my body, and it was then a perfect way to force me to think outside the frame.
“What could I do ?” The first word that came to mind was jewelry. Of course, for me, it was a little surprise—not the fact that I am a jewelry addict, but more that I literally don’t know anything about jewelry designing and making.
As you notice, there are a lot of self-limiting beliefs and thoughts that, most of the time in life, stop you from really doing what you deeply aspire to.
Thankfully, my boyfriend supported me and just encouraged me to “start”.
Just starting is probably the best advice you could ever give to anyone. I don’t understand why it’s often so difficult to pass this mental barrier between thoughts and reality, simply because you don’t see the way, or you limit yourself in your comfort zone.
It’s not because you don’t see a way that it doesn’t exist. On the contrary! Everything exists since there are always an infinite number of possibilities.
So I started watching videos and learning more about jewelry, took courses, and naturally started creating !
The funny thing is that for me, creating is definitely my last concern. I am always full of ideas, more complicated was understanding how I wanted to create.
This is a little story to share with you how, out of nowhere, I started my jewelry path.
And it’s a real good example to show that you should never stop believing in your dreams, always listen to your inner desires, as my mom says, this little voice that guides you.
If you listen to what you truly feel, then you can't make a mistake.
You are the only one who knows what you truly want in this life. Who you want to become and what you want to do.
So don’t let anyone around you or in your social surroundings tell you what you can or can't do.
Everything starts with an idea, and the desire to make it happen will show you the way and make it real.
All love.
